Providing Opportunities for Success

Libraries

Inspiring diversity of thought and the intelligent application of ideas to prepare students for a life of relevance and impact.

Lenoir-Rhyne University libraries provide exceptional physical and virtual environments to engage our Hickory, Asheville, Columbia and online campus communities in learning. Students, faculty, staff and community members are provided with numerous tools to research and engage in an academic setting.

The libraries provide spaces for quiet study, relaxed group collaboration, formal classroom instruction, accommodated testing and focused research. Wireless network access is available throughout the buildings.

Librarians work with students and faculty to assist in the development of information seeking and management skills that support academic success and lifelong learning.
